Date: March 27th 2010, Saturday
Time: Late Morning
Weather: Warm, fuzzy sun
Location: Ulu Yam (I think)
On this fateful day, well or rather the day before, Zen called me up and ask me if I want to attend a shoot. Since he says it won't cost me anything, I thought, what the heck right, just go la...Only need to pay for fuel, food, and toll. So I got ready, charge my camera and wait for the day. He told me it's an outdoor shoot, waterfall. So I did not pack my flash. BIG mistake...UGHHHH! (Note to self: Always bring flash. ALWAYS)
SO the day came and off I go. Picked up Zen and then go pick up the models. And after stopping for breakfast and waiting for the rest of the gang we went to the waterfall. Good road to drive on, if I am alone. With Zen in the car and 2 models, aih, have to drive darn slow.
After what feels like a thousand years, we reached there. Ughhh! spilled my coffee. NO COFFEE to start a shoot. Just great! Anyway, we split into 2 groups. Zen and 2 friends in 1 group, me and Ah Wah. All took out their gears and do some test shot. And this had to come and bring my morale down. One guys has a 40D and a 50D with grip, the other I can't see what model, Zen on his trusty 300D or 350D (can't remember) and Ah Wah with his 7D. And my gosh, the lens they have there, if no one knew we were there for a shoot, people would think we are Canon lens distributor for SEA. Seriously, there are that much lens there. And all, I literally mean all, original Canon lens. It's so good to be rich :( The flash they have, man, do I need to tell? SO off we go, start shooting. It was a great experience. Bee is quite natural, May can pose well. Ah Wah can direct. Apparently he is a portrait photog. Talk about pressure eh? Now what was that I wanted to write...hmmm....ohh yeah, Ah Wah has this lens, Made in Japan 1963. Still working.Had to do MF but heck it was that sharp. Anyway..enough talking, photo time...

Note to self: Always make sure glasses power is correct and set focus to AF. If not this is the result…ARGHH
